Transalp is back on Monte Grappa!
The most fascinating and spectacular amateur stage race across Europe is back in our territory! Crespano del Grappa, cozy town at the foot of Monte Grappa, will be stage town both for the arrive of the 4th fraction and the start of the 5th one next 27th and 28th June 2018. The race cycling event is organized by a German committee but has participants from all over the world. 819 kilometers and 17.739 meters of height for about 1000 athletes coming from more than 35 nations! The itinerary start from Bressanone and pass through San Vigilio di Marebbe, Sillian (the only little passage in Austria since the rest of the race is settled in Italy), Fiera di Primiero, Crespano, Trento, Lago di Caldaro and eventually Riva del Garda as the tradition of the race requires.
AMA Music Festival 2018 in Bassano del Grappa!
The big Festival of indie and electronic music of the North-East of Italy moves from Asolo to Bassano del Grappa.

The Bisi of Borso (local peas) arrive on our tables!
End of May and beginning of June are the period of local peas harvest. This little round green fruit of our earth is famous for its unique delicate sweet taste.
The perfect position of Borso del Grappa, the rich soil, the gentle climate... everything works together to give us a delicious pea to enjoy!
In this period the restaurants of the area offer dedicate menus to exalt the biso with both creative and traditional recipes.

Our territory, often identified by its proximity to Bassano del Grappa, is well-known all over Europe as one of the best spot to practice paragliding and hang-gliding in Italy thanks to the perfect environmental condition.
The hot air thermal currents leaving the Venetian plain and reaching the mountain are almost constant during the whole year permitting medium and long distance flights and giving hours of pure amusement to the fan of this amazing discipline.

5th Edition Monte Grappa Bike Day - Saturday 26th May 2018
Bike lovers adore Monte Grappa and its roads towards the pike (Cima Grappa).
This mountain in fact has been theater of several Giro editions and still has a particular charming power to the cyclists. What if for one day, they could be protagonists without worrying about the car traffic? This dream come true on the Monte Grappa Bike Day: a free and non-competitive race open to all bike lovers!

Due to rockfalls near Cornosega tunnels, the Provincial Road SP140 from Semonzo di Borso del Grappa to Cima Grappa is closed to traffic in the stretch of road between km 9 + 900 and km 11 + 500.

Trail of the Heroes and Journey of the Heroes - 2018 Edition
"Trail of the Heroes" and "Journey of the Heroes" editions will take place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd September 2018.
"Trail of the Heroes" is a mountain running event that twists and turns through the main ridges of Monte Grappa, following where possible the trenches of the Great War and the "Alta Via degli Eroi".
"Journey of the Heroes", on the other hand, is beyond the simple Ultra Trail. It's not just a sporting contest, but a real experience that allows you to experience the mountain in a deep and total way, you will be able to step your foot in places where the Great War was fought.
Spring of Prosecco: travelling between celebration and wine cellars.
From Valdobbiadene to Conegliano, between hills and vineyards, Strada del Prosecco (Prosecco’s Road) unravels, among old farmhouses, ancient trees and wine cellars.
And it’s from these wine cellars that the most famous Wine Tourist event in Veneto starts: the Spring of Prosecco Superiore 2018. The event aims to involve food and wine tourism on the territory of the Alta Marca, to find out where is produced the most drunk sparkling wine in the world: Prosecco Superiore Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG.
Consorzio Turistico Vivere il Grappa will take part at 2018 THERMIK-Messe fair trade
On 13 and 14 January 2018 Vivere il Grappa will take part at the famous "THERMIK-Messe" fair in Stuttgart to promote the territory and all the tourist activities that can offer to those who decide to spend their holidays with friends or family.
It will promote all the available sports on Monte Grappa and its surroundings.
Not only paragliding and hang-gliding, but also hiking, cycling, river sports, canyoning and all summer and winter outdoor activities.
Special attention will be paid to food and wine that characterizes the foothills from Prosecco to Alpine hut/cottage cheese.
